We keep two 3 litre milk bottles next to the sink and each time we need hot water in the kitchen, we fill up ONE 3 litre bottle of water to get the hot water from the hot water water service to the kitchen tap! This water is then used for cooking, watering plants etc. It is NEVER wasted! Imagine how much mater is being wasted by so many households!

When we want to wipe over the bench and need a hot sponge, we wet the sponge and heat it up in the microwave. Again, this saves water.
